To apply for a bachelor’s degree program, you need an upper secondary school certificate or its equivalent. UAS (Universities of Applied Sciences) bachelor’s degrees typically require 210–270 ECTS credits and take 3.5 to 4.5 years to complete, depending on the program. University bachelor’s degrees require 180 ECTS credits and have a standard duration of 3 years.
These are more academic-research oriented and focus on developing critical-thinking skills along with practical training with projects.
These emphasize more on hands-on experience and practical training for professional settings.
Start by searching for the study programs you'd wish to apply to in the studyinfo.fi database. After choosing your programs, it is easy for you to check the application period and other admission-related details with those particular universities.
With joint application you have the possibility to apply twice a year. You can use one application to apply for a maximum of 6 programs. It saves you a lot of time and simply with one application you apply for many programs. These programs can be in one university or in many universities.
With separate application you have to apply separately for each program. You might have to submit documents separately as well. It is always better to check the requirements from the program website.
Usually for getting admission in a bachelor program in Finland, you need to have:
Matric and Intermediate degrees (attested from HEC and IBCC)
IELTS, PTE Academic, TOEFL
Entrance exam (either UAS, SAT or university's own entrance exam)

Mostly the admission results are announced in March/April for studies starting in Autumn (August). After that you have to apply for a student residence permit if you have accepted to any of the programs.
